In a case with implications for the entire news industry, Raw Story and AlterNet sued OpenAI for violations of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act earlier this year. Raw Story and AlterNet have responded to the tech company’s efforts to dismiss the case. “Much like the hallucinations to which their products are prone, Defendant ignores or mischaracterizes both the applicable law and the allegations of the Complaint. Raw Story and AlterNet are entitled to their day in court.”
