News from the City of Big Shoulders: Federal Judge Issues Injunction Against Federal Forces in Chicago

And having answered so I turn once more to those who sneer at this my city, and I give them back the sneer and say to them:

Come and show me another city with lifted head singing so proud to be alive and coarse and strong and cunning.

Today a federal judge in Chicago opened a historic ruling by reading the famous Sandburg poem celebrating Chicago, and then entered an injunction, protecting our clients—who are journalists, clergy, protestors, and observers—from the brutal force that has been inflicted by federal agents across the region.
