Summer Associates form an important part of the Loevy & Loevy team each year.
We will begin accepting applications from 2Ls for our 2026 Summer Associate program on October 1, 2025. Summer Associates at Loevy & Loevy have the opportunity to work on the full range of cases the firm handles. These include cases involving wrongful convictions, police shootings, prisoners’ rights, whistleblower protection, government transparency, and digital privacy rights. Summer Associates learn by working closely with experienced attorneys throughout the summer. They are given meaningful, substantive legal work, and they participate in a wide range of litigation activities across our practice areas. Typical assignments include drafting briefs and motions, as well as assisting with depositions, case investigations, witness interviews, hearings, and trials.
The ideal candidate is a person who is hardworking and is passionate about civil rights and social justice. Strong writing and research skills, and an ability to work efficiently, are essential.
