Loevy & Loevy Attorney Cindy Tsai Honored with the 2015 Loyola APALSA Alumni Award of Excellence

 

Loevy & Loevy is pleased to announce that Cindy Tsai has been recognized by Loyola University Chicago Asian Pacific American Law Students Association (APALSA) with its Alumni Award of Excellence for her contributions to the law school, the legal profession, and the community. The award was presented by the Honorable Judge Young B. Kim of the Northern District of Illinois on March 20, 2015.

Loyola University Chicago School of Law APALSA was founded in 1988 as an organization for all students interested in the role of Asian Americans in the legal community. Loyola APALSA alumni maintain ongoing relationships with the student organization and its members by serving as mentors, judging moot court competitions, and hosting networking events. Each year, one alumni member is recognized for her achievements in the legal profession and contribution the school and community.

Cindy was honored for her efforts in paving the way for future Asian American litigators in the federal bar. She is one of the few Asian American litigators in Chicago who practices at the federal level. Many judges and attorneys have publicly acknowledged Cindy as an attorney who has consistently demonstrated outstanding qualities of a strong litigator, including courage, eloquence, and sound judgment. She is dedicated to her clients and the legal profession. She also volunteers her time to mentor young attorneys, judge law school competitions, and work on various community projects.
