BREAKING – Police torturer Jon Burge to be sent to Tampa half-way house, authorities announce

Yesterday one of the victims of former Chicago Police Commander Jon Burge, Mr. Mearon Diggins, received a letter from the Department of Justice announcing that Burge would be released to a half-way house in Tampa, FL on October 2nd.

The letter reads in part,

“This notice is to inform that Jon Burge has been approved for placement in a community correctional center otherwise known as a half-way house and will transfer from this institution on October 2, 2014.  After the transfer, the inmate will be located at the Hillsborough County CSC in Tampa, FL. “

“In addition to the information provided regarding this offender, CCC transfer the following information is relevant to the inmate’s eventual release.  The inmate is scheduled is to be released on February 14, 2015.  The inmate is not eligible for parole.  Upon release the inmate will reside in Apollo Beach, FL and will be supervised by the United States Probation Office at USPO Middle District of Florida, Tampa.”
