Loevy + Loevy successfully represented the Better Government Association in transparency case against the Chicago Transit Authority

On behalf of the the Better Government Association, Loevy + Loevy sued the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) pension plan under the Freedom of Information Act, forcing the CTA to disclose expense reimbursements and records showing gifts or perks bestowed on the fund’s executive director. The suit also alleges the CTA pension plan fails to meet basic Freedom of Information Act requirements, including posting the names and contact information of FOIA officers on its website.
