Biography
River Scott joined Loevy & Loevy as a Military Contracts Attorney with the Whistleblower Practice Group in 2022. Before joining Loevy & Loevy, River served as a JAG Corps attorney-advisor, as a law clerk in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois, and as a law clerk in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. While in law school, River earned concentrations in international and comparative law and criminal law. River also represented indigent clients in the Saint Louis University School of Law Legal Defense Clinic and Legal Services of Eastern Missouri. River is currently an associate member of the American Inns of Court.
Additionally, River is a Major and veteran with 20 years of experience in the Army National Guard. River’s career cycled through specialties including logistics, administration, operations, disaster planning, and most recently commander and instructor of the Officer Candidate and Warrant Officer Candidate Schools.
