Biography
Isaac Green joined Loevy & Loevy as a Justice Fellow in 2024.
Isaac graduated from Harvard Law School, magna cum laude, in 2022, and from Dartmouth College, magna cum laude, in 2017. During law school, Isaac represented incarcerated individuals and people accused of misdemeanors in Massachusetts state court with the Criminal Justice Institute (CJI). At CJI, Isaac briefed and argued an appeal before the Massachusetts Appeals Court challenging the Massachusetts Department of Correction’s failure to adequately implement the state’s recently enacted medical parole statute and grant his terminally ill client medical parole. Isaac also represented incarcerated people as a clinical extern in the Nevada Federal Defender’s Capital Habeas Unit and at the Center for Health Law and Policy where he worked on a class action suit that resulted in a significant expansion in the availability of Hepatitis-C medication for those on Medicaid in Texas. During law school Isaac also dedicated a significant amount of his time to the Tenant Advocacy Project (TAP) where he served as the chair of the intake review committee for two years and won several administrative appeals for his clients facing eviction from public housing or termination of their Section 8 housing benefits. Isaac was also a semi-finalist in Harvard’s annual Ames Moot Court competition, in which his team won Best Brief.
Prior to joining Loevy & Loevy, Isaac served as a law clerk for the Honorable Alison J. Nathan on the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the Honorable David J. Barron on the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
One of the things Isaac loves about working at Loevy & Loevy is that he can bring Tua, his dog, to work with him some days. Outside of work Isaac (and Tua) can be found outdoors mountain biking, skiing, trail running, and whitewater kayaking.
