Injustice Watch Sues CPD for Videos and Reports from Juvenile Detention Incident

On March 9, 2026, we filed suit on behalf of Injustice Watch against the Chicago Police Department for refusing to answer two FOIA requests seeking videos and reports from an incident that resulted in criminal charges against a Cook County Juvenile Temporary Detention Center employee for allegedly assaulting a minor in custody.  The employee was acquitted in October 2025.
