On November 5, 2025, we filed suit on behalf of Southside Weekly against the Chicago Police Department for refusing to release body-worn camera and dash camera footage from an incident involving a detention on South Shore Drive on September 30, 2025. CPD responded to the scene after being notified by federal authorities that they had detained an individual with an active criminal warrant.
