PRESS RELEASE: Gregory Bovino, Commander of “Operation Midway Blitz,” Appears to Personally Violate Temporary Restraining Order

Plaintiffs in lawsuit file notice with Judge Sara Ellis over the apparent violation of her orders.

CHICAGO — Today, attorneys for the plaintiffs in Chicago Headline Club v. Noem—the lawsuit that resulted in a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) restricting the federal use of force against protesters—filed a notice of violations with Judge Sara L. Ellis.

As explained in the filing, the plaintiffs are concerned about reports—and video that appears to show—that Commander-at-Large Gregory Bovino personally violated the TRO by throwing tear gas at a crowd in the Little Village neighborhood of Chicago on Thursday morning.

This story is developing.
