Biography

Jake Hansen (he/him/his) joined Loevy + Loevy as a paralegal at the firm’s Boulder, Colorado office in 2026.

Prior to joining Loevy, Jake spent three years working as a paralegal for an attorney practicing criminal defense and family law. He has also volunteered as a translator and interpreter with the Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network (RMIAN), assisting attorneys with asylum cases.

Jake graduated from the University of Washington in 2018 with a degree in Russian Language, Literature, and Culture, and was the recipient of a Fulbright grant in 2018 that brought him to Omsk, Russia, where he worked for a year. He graduated with a master’s degree in the Humanities from the University of Chicago in 2022.

In his spare time, Jake likes to run, read, garden, cook, and spend time with friends and family.
