As of February 2016, Loevy & Loevy has begun accepting applications for contract Project Attorneys.
The Project Attorney position offers attorneys interested in civil rights, criminal justice, and whistleblower litigation an opportunity to accumulate and advance their litigation experience in meaningful and interesting cases.
Project Attorneys at Loevy & Loevy work hourly as independent contractors on a project-long basis. These litigation projects vary in scope, running the entire gamut of litigation-related tasks, depending on the attorney’s skill and interests. Projects offer flexibility in terms of controlling your own schedules and workplace location.
We are looking for candidates with strong credentials, as well as an ability to work both independently and collaboratively, but above all, creatively. Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated a commitment to public interest law, civil rights, and criminal justice.
Loevy & Loevy will continue to accept applications from potential Project Attorneys on a rolling basis. To apply, please send a cover letter and resume to email@example.com. Interviews will be scheduled as appropriate. Successful applicants are placed on our Project Attorney assignment distribution list and, based on their skill and interests, are offered opportunities to choose from various hourly project postings. Compensation is commensurate with the attorney’s skill, experience level, and performance on prior projects.
Loevy & Loevy is an equal opportunity employer. We value diversity and an inclusive culture. We welcome applications from first-generation professionals. We strongly encourage applications from all qualified individuals regardless of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, veteran’s status, or national origin.
