Contract Attorneys

Loevy & Loevy is now accepting applications for immediate hiring for contract attorneys in a variety of roles.  We are open to contract attorneys from multiple jurisdictions.

Hourly rate beginning at $30/hour.

Most projects take approximately 8 weeks with possible follow-up, unless otherwise noted.

Police Misconduct:  Our civil rights practice is seeking contract attorneys in various jurisdictions to support discovery ranging from review of police files and prison calls, to taking depositions and brief writing.   

FOIA Litigation: Our FOIA practice is seeking project attorneys to assist in legal research and brief writing.  Assignments will be on a per project basis, and contractors are free to accept or reject assignments as suits their schedule. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience with an emphasis on legal writing and be available for 30-40 hours of work per week.

False Claims Act:  Our whistleblower practice is seeking contract attorneys to support document review.  A background in antitrust, financial records, the military and/or government contracts, and experience with e-discovery platforms desired.  We expect the project to take 6 months.

Prisoners’ Rights Leave Coverage:  Our Prisoners’ Rights practice is looking for an Illinois attorney with 4+ years of litigation experience, including investigations, depositions, expert coordination, brief writing, and hearings.  Prisoners’ Rights experience desired.  Must be highly organized.  Hourly rate commensurate with experience and expertise.
