Loevy & Loevy is accepting applications for contract attorneys for its busy Data Privacy and Cyber-Intelligence Group. 

We are a nationally recognized civil rights law firm, with a practice group dedicated to protecting citizens from the ever-increasing infringement on their privacy by major corporations. The Data Privacy and Cyber-Intelligence Group is actively involved in cutting-edge privacy litigation throughout the country against some of the world’s most powerful tech companies, including Amazon, Google, Microsoft, IBM and TikTok and is leading multidistrict litigation against Clearview AI, a company whose practices the New York Times has said may end privacy as we know it. The Group also actively works with various child advocacy groups to address the unique issues related to children’s data privacy.

We are seeking attorneys with a keen interest in data privacy and at least 4 years of experience in privacy, class actions, or complex commercial litigation.

Compensation is hourly, and dependent on expertise and experience.

Required:

  • Licensed to practice law
  • Demonstrated interest in privacy and the intersection of technology and civil rights
  • Excellent writing, communication and client relationship skills
  • Experience in (a) drafting and responding to substantive motions; (b) drafting complaints; (c) drafting and responding to discovery; (d) meeting and conferring with defense counsel; (e) taking depositions; (f) reviewing and indexing documents; and (g) appearing and presenting arguments in court.
