Biography

Israa Alzamli joined Loevy & Loevy as a justice fellow in 2024.

Israa graduated from Harvard Law School in 2024. During law school, Israa was a part of the Harvard International Human Rights Clinic (HIRC) and Harvard Defenders. At HIRC, Israa helped prepare several investigative reports on human rights abuses in Israel relating to prisons, administrative detention, and the suppression of Palestinian human rights groups. As part of Defenders, Israa represented indigent individuals accused of misdemeanors in Massachusetts state court.

Israa will be clerking for the Honorable Zia M. Faruqui on the United States District Court for the District of Columbia in the Fall of 2025.
