Loevy & Loevy Names Roshna Bala Keen Partner at the Firm

Loevy & Loevy is pleased to announce that Roshna Bala Keen has been named a partner at the firm.

Roshna joined Loevy & Loevy in 2008 and concentrates her practice on wrongful convictions and police misconduct. Her winning track record has earned her a reputation in the legal community as a zealous advocate for justice. She has won numerous jury trials involving malicious prosecution, excessive force, and unconstitutional conditions of confinement, and she has obtained significant settlements for wrongfully convicted individuals and victims of police sexual assault. Committed to public service, Roshna also devotes her time to serving on the Board of First Defense Legal Aid and providing pro bono legal services to various animal rights groups. She teaches Animal Law at the University of Chicago Law School.

Loevy & Loevy was founded in 1997 by attorney Jon Loevy after he left the international law firm Sidley & Austin. From the beginning, the firm vowed only to take cases that fit with the desire to right wrongs for the victims of injustice. Loevy & Loevy applies this philosophy to cases in a variety of practice areas, including civil rights cases, class action suits, whistleblower claims, personal injury and commercial litigation. Today, the firm’s attorneys are widely recognized as being among the nation’s leading civil rights lawyers due to their accomplishments as trial attorneys—winning more than $250 million in verdicts and settlements for our clients.
