Rachel Steinback graduated cum laude from Northwestern University School of Law in 2008, where she worked in the Bluhm Legal Clinic's Center on Wrongful Convictions and externed for U.S. District Court Judge Matthew F. Kennelly. She also served as a Senior Articles Editor on the Journal of Criminal Law & Criminology. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Steinback was a policy advisor to U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer and worked as an associate at Goldman Sachs. Following law school, Ms. Steinback worked as an associate in the litigation department of Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP in New York City, where she worked on federal and state litigation, and handled an extensive list of pro bono matters. Ms. Steinback joined Loevy & Loevy in the Fall of 2009. She is admitted to practice law in Illinois and New York, as well as in the Northern District of Illinois, the Southern District of New York, and the Eastern District of New York.
