Dan Twetten is a partner at Loevy & Loevy. He represents clients in complex business and commercial litigation and trials. He has tried cases in state and federal courts and has handled matters in a wide range of areas, from contract disputes to frauds to internal investigations. Dan has represented several Fortune 500 businesses, leading research universities, non-profit entities, and individuals.
Dan also represents whistleblowers in cases under the False Claims Act and other qui tam statutes. Dan has represented whistleblowers in claims involving pharmaceutical off-label marketing, complex Medicare/Medicaid fraud, tax fraud, home health care, MBE/WBE fraud, research grants, and government contractor fraud.
Finally, Dan litigates and tries civil rights cases. For example, after a two-week jury trial in June 2009, a federal jury awarded a client $21 million for having been wrongfully convicted and imprisoned for more than eleven years.
